I am a food enthusiast who probably spent more of my life in the kitchen than out. Over time, I began noticing the beauty of what we so carelessly discard. The fibrous textures of orange peels; the toasty aroma of spent coffee ground; the beautiful patterns of tea leaves, and the bright yet exotic colours of purple cabbage; the strength and grain of eggshells all go unnoticed. What a pity to have all of that in the compost instead of on a crafting table. 

So, I began to question: could food waste itself become a material?

And this led to the creation of ANEVV: A NEW view on food waste.
