Creating whimsy from the mundane

A chef, an artist and a designer, I focus on transforming everyday materials through experimentation and craft. Beginning in the kitchen, I approache food as both medium and inspiration, guided by the belief that what is edible Is also art. My work explores food waste, biodegradable-based materials, structure, colour, and utility, reimagining overlooked remnants as objects of beauty and function. Fruit peels become bags, tea bags become paintings, and coffee grounds become fashion, each transformation revealing the creative potential hidden within the ordinary.

Creation is woven into my daily life. Each morning begins in the kitchen, where yogurt bowls, breakfast plates, and freshly baked goods become small acts of artistic expression. Beyond presentation, I see the interesting pairing of nutrition, flavour, and ingredients as creation in itself as well. Through this continual process of making, experimenting, and reimagining, I explore the relationship between food, sustainability, and design, inviting moments of curiosity, delight, and possibility through both nourishing meals and material innovation.
