Fish Carcass Soup
Oil paint on canvas
My favourite soup is made from “trash.” I wanted to reveal the beauty hidden in bones beneath the meat, transforming what is often discarded into something delicate and nourishing. Through contrasts in colour, canvas geometry and scale, this semi-realist oil painting challenges the notion of waste, reflecting my belief that what we label as “leftover” still holds the potential for another purpose.
